With reports of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Inshallah’ getting shelved due to creative differences and Salman Khan walking out of the project due to unknown reasons. Now, Bhansali is reported to go ahead with his pending project ‘Gangubai’ which is loosely based on S Hussain Zaidi’s book ‘Mafia Queens Of Mumbai’ focussing on the real-life story of Gangubai Kothewali, head of brothels in Mumbai during the ’60s era.
The film which was originally set to star Priyanka Chopra is said to go on floors in October and feature Alia Bhatt in the lead role as she has her ‘Inshallah’ dates available.
