On the second day of Eid-ul-Adha, people continue to celebrate by following the Sunnah of Hazrat Ibrahim (AS) and Hazrat Ismail (AS) and sacrificing animals amid the coronavirus pandemic.
In a bid to maintain the successes achieved in containing the coronavirus pandemic in the country.
A total of six Eid-ul-Azha congregations took place at Baitul Mukarram National Mosque in Dhaka amid the coronavirus pandemic. The worshippers attended the prayers following hygiene rules but the scene was completely different outside the mosque.
Meanwhile, the first day of Eid-ul-Adha was dawned with special prayers in mosques for the well-being of the Ummah, progress, prosperity, and security of the country as well as the importance of following the Sunnah of Hazrat Ibrahim (AS).
According to the source, animals are being slaughtered in different parts of the country including the capital’s Kaptan Bazar, Mohammed pur, Gulistan, Bangshal, Nayabazar, Bangshal Pukurpar, Nayabazar, Sikkatuli, and Old Dhaka.
Meanwhile, the mayors of Dhaka’s two city corporations have promised to remove the waste within 24 hours.
According to the City Corporation Public Relations Officer, the garbage has already been removed in 42 wards in the south and 23 wards in the north.
