Thirty-two more people have died from the COVID-19 in the last 24 hours, raising the death toll from the pandemic to 5,251 in the country.

Besides, 1436 fresh positive cases have been registered during the time. With this, the total number of confirmed cases climbed to 3,63,479.

The daily health press of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) online on Wednesday (September 30).

Health authorities reported another 1789 people to have recovered from the disease in a day, rising the total number of recoveries to 2,75,487.

The first coronavirus death was reported in the country on March 18, ten days after the detection of the first COVID-19 cases.
