The Dhaka University (DU) authorities have taken the decision to hold admission test in person, according to media reports.
The deans’ committee of the Dhaka University in a meeting on Tuesday agreed to hold admission test in the divisional cities considering present coronavirus situations.
The committee also decided to reduce marks of the admission test.
Prof Dr Sadeka Halim, Dean of Social Science Discipline, said that we have to take admission test in order to maintain the quality of education in DU.
As a result, the deans committee came up with a decision to hold the test in person.
The proposal was also made to hold exam in different centers’ of divisional cities.
The meeting has proposed to take 100 marks exam instead of previous 200 marks. There will be 20 marks on the results of secondary and higher secondary examination and rest 80 marks will include written and multiple-choice test.
