Fourteen more people have died from the COVID-19 in the last 24 hours, raising the death toll from the pandemic to 5723 in the country.
The country also logged more than 3,93,131 coronavirus cases with 1,545 people have tested positive over the same period.
With this development, the number of all confirmed cases so far jumped to 3,93,131.
Health authorities reported another 1,704 people to have recovered from the disease in a day, rising the total number of recoveries to 3,08,845.
The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) revealed the latest figures on Covid-19 in the country with a press release on Wednesday.
The first coronavirus death was reported in the country on March 18, ten days after the detection of the first COVID-19 cases.
