Awami League nominated candidate Selina Hayat Ivy was unofficially declared as winner of the Narayanganj City Corporation (NCC) election for the third time at a stretch.
The Election Commission (EC) is yet to announce official results.
Ivy reportedly defeated his nearest rival, independent candidate Taimur Alam Khandaker, by a margin of over 60,000 votes.
Selina Hayat, with the symbol ‘boat’, secured 1,61,273 votes and Taimur got 92,171 votes after counting all 192 centers.
