The Eid jamaat (congregation) will be held at 200 model mosques and Islamic cultural centres inaugurated by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina across the country this year.
The Islamic Foundation confirmed the matter in a press release on Thursday (April 20).
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has so far inaugurated 200 model mosques out of 564 being built across the country. The Eid jamaat will be held at the inaugurated mosques on the day of Eid-ul-Fitr, the release said.
The Eid-ul-Fitr, one of the largest religious festivals for Muslims, will be held on April 22 or 23 based on the sighting of Shawwal moon.
