Md. Mizanur Rahman has been appointed as the Superintendent of Police of Jhalokati. He was previously serving as the Superintendent of Police of Gopalganj.
The Home Ministry has decided to reshuffle the posts of Superintendent of Police in 64 districts of the country. Superintendents of Police (SPs) of 64 districts have been reshuffled through a lottery to serve in the 13th National Parliament elections.
The change was made in a notification signed by Home Ministry Deputy Secretary Md. Mahbubur Rahman on Wednesday (November 26). The notification said that the order issued will be effective immediately.
Earlier, the SP was selected through a lottery held at the residence of the Chief Advisor, Jamuna, on Monday (November 24). Acting IGP and DMP Commissioner Sheikh Md. Sajjat Ali, along with top officials of the Home Ministry and representatives of the Chief Advisor’s office, were present during the lottery.
