Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) has arrested controversial Dhaka North City Corporation Councilor Habibur Rahman Mizan alias Pagla Mizan., Councilor of Ward No-32 of DNCC as part of the ongoing drive against casino and corruption.

Assistant director of RAB Headquarters Mizanur Rahman confirmed this that the elite force arrested the City Awami League leader for his alleged involvement in the casino business form Srimangal of Maulvibazar when he was trying to flee to a neighboring country on Friday morning (Oct 11).

Mizanur Rahman told that RAB conducted a raid on his residence in Mohammadpur’s Aurangzeb Road on Oct 8 but he was not there at the time.
