Four more people have tested positive for coronavirus in Keraniganj, taking the number of total cases to 31 in the Upazila, acording to Upazila Health Officer.

Upazila Health Officer Dr Mir Mobarak Hossain Confirm to media that the infected people were sent to Kuwait-Bangladesh Friendship Government Hospital in the capital for treatment.

Samples of 75 more people have been sent to the Institute of Epidemiology, Disease Control and Research for test, he said.

The local administration put the Upazila under complete lockdown from Thursday.
