Dr. Saima Afroz has been playing an important role in the health service since joining Araihazar Upazila Health Complex in ensuring the health care of the rural people under her supervision.
36 community clinics have been effectively launched with proper manpower and adequate medicine.

Which is playing a significant role in improving the health of the rural people. In the past two years, the upazila health complex has continued its best efforts to fill the vacant posts of doctors.

Almost all vacant posts including consultant have been filled. Necessary changes have been made in health management. E-health services and telemedicine services have been launched. Emergency maternity services have been launched to ensure maximum service during delivery and post delivery.

There is a special reward scheme for hospital born babies to increase institutional normal delivery. To speed up the service activities of TB patients free medicines are provided along with Gene Expert Machine. The institution has received various domestic and international awards in recognition of its success in health management. It ranks ninth in Bangladesh and third in Dhaka Division.
As a pioneer in VIA and CBE screening, Upazila Health Complex Araihajar has already earned a reputation across Bangladesh. The Upazila Health Complex received the award as the best stall in the Upazila Development Fair 2021. Normal delivery service has achieved incredible success.599 in 2019 and 687 and 1156 in 2020 and 21 respectively.

To improve maternal health and increase institutional normal delivery, organizing mothers’ gatherings in community clinics and special prizes for female children. Dr. Saima Afroz is universally admired and has earned a good reputation as a child of Narsingdi and an enlightened humanitarian of two and a half thousand by conducting all these activities.
