Armenia said Wednesday that Azerbaijan’s forces were occupying 10 square kilometres (almost four square miles) of its territory after the worst clashes in years broke out between the historic rivals, leaving dozens dead.
“The enemy occupied 40 square kilometres of Armenian land last May and has occupied 10 square kilometres more now,” Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan told lawmakers, demanding that Azerbaijan’s forces “leave our territories”. – AFP
