Following the incident, Asadul’s father, Zainal Abedin, filed a murder case at Jatrabari Police Station on August 30 last year. Former prime minister Sheikh Hasina and 25 others have been named as accused in the case. Among them, Nasir Uddin is listed as accused no. 22 and his son Tawhid Afridi as accused no. 11 in the FIR.
