Thirty-six more people have died from the COVID-19 in the last 24 hours, raising the death toll from the pandemic to 5,129 in the country.

Another 1,106 coronavirus patients are found in 24 hours, raising the total number of infections to 357,873.

A press release of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) made the disclosure on Saturday afternoon.

Health authorities reported another 1,753 people to have recovered from the disease in a day, rising the total number of recoveries to 287,777.

In the last 24 hours, 93 coronavirus testing laboratories across the country tested 10,765 samples.
