Under the active supervision of Dr. Saima Afroz, Health and Family Planning Officer of Araihajar Upazila Health Complex, special health service cards are available for freedom fighters.

Through special healthcare card, necessary tests can be done free of charge from the hospital and accordingly free medical services and medicines are provided. There is a modern freedom fighter cabin in the hospital.

A wall of humanity has been launched in the health complex to serve the needs of humanity. From there, various activities including distribution of necessary food items, winter clothes, distribution of wheelchairs to physically disabled people are being conducted along with health care for helpless and distressed people.

Visitor cards are in operation in the hospital to prevent infection and avoid overcrowding. There is a well-equipped dining room for patients to dine in beautiful surroundings.

Taking effective measures to control the Covid-19 pandemic and strict implementation of government decisions made it possible to bring it under complete control. The sincerity and bravery of the staff during the Covid-19 pandemic deserves appreciation. All the doctors, nurses, technologists, ward boys, cleaners in the hospital were always ready to serve the patients of Covid-19, disregarding their own lives. While providing services, several officers and employees became Covid positive. Senior nurse Meera Rani Das was infected. Failing all the efforts of the doctors, this fearless soldier passed away forever.
