Blankets gifted by the Prime Minister have been distributed among poor people at Saltha upazila in Faridpur district.
These blankets were distributed among 490 people in Gotti Union Parishad area of the upazila at 11 am on Saturday.
Faridpur-2 MP Shahdab Akbar Chowdhury (Labu) was present as the chief guest at the distribution programme.
At that time, among others, Saltha Upazila Parishad chairman Wadud Matubbar, MP’s personal officer Benazir Ahmed, Upazila Swecchasebak League president Rakibul Hasan Jewell and Jubo League leader Abul Hossain were present at the programme presided over by the UP chairman Habibur Lablu.
