Eight people have died of dengue in the last 24 hours. At the same time, 778 dengue patients have been admitted to various hospitals across the country.
The information was given in a press release sent from the Health Emergency, Operation Center, and Control Room of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) on Sunday.

The press release said that among the patients admitted to hospitals due to dengue in the last 24 hours, there are 83 in Barisal division (outside the City Corporation), 134 in Chattogram division (out of CC), 121 in Dhaka division (out of CC), 129 in Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC), 81 in Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC), 112 in Khulna division (out of CC), 44 in Mymensingh division (out of CC), 48 in Rajshahi division (out of CC), 19 in Rangpur division (out of CC), and seven in Sylhet division (out of CC).

1,111 dengue patients have been discharged from hospitals in the last 24 hours. A total of 87,442 patients have been discharged from hospitals so far this year.

As of November 23 this year, a total of 90,264 people have been infected with dengue. Of these, 62.3 percent are men and 37.7 percent are women.

A total of 364 people have died from dengue so far this year.
