The Bangladesh Public Service Commission (PSC) has released the notification for the 50th BCS. It was published on the PSC website this Wednesday (November 26) afternoon.
In the 50th BCS, 1,755 people will be appointed to cadre positions. In addition, 395 people will be appointed to non-cadre positions.

The notification said that the application and fee submission will start from 10 am on December 4 and will continue till 11:59 pm on December 31.

The notification stated that the 50th BCS preliminary examination 2026 will be held on January 30, 2026, and the results will be published on February 10, 2026. After that, the written examination will start on April 9, 202,6, and its results will be published on July 30, 2026. The oral examination will start on August 10, 202,6, and the results will be published on November 25, 2026.

The preliminary and written examinations will be held simultaneously in Dhaka, Chattogram, Rajshahi, Khulna, Barishal, Sylhet, Rangpur, and Mymensingh centers. However, if it is not possible to arrange an exam at a candidate’s preferred center, they will have to sit for the test at another center designated by the commission. The oral exam will be held at the commission’s head office in Dhaka. No requests for center changes will be accepted.

A total of 1,755 positions will be filled through the 50th BCS. Of these, 200 posts are in the Administration Cadre, 650 in the Health Cadre, 117 in the Police Cadre, and 120 in the Agriculture Cadre. In addition, 139 lecturer positions have been allocated for government colleges, 26 for government alia madrasa institutions, and 21 for polytechnic and glass-ceramic institutes.
