A woman was crushed under the wheels of a train at Ghorashal upazila in Noarsingdi district on Saturday morning.
The identity of the deceased was not known immediately.
According to railway police, a Sylhet-boun Parabat Express train hit the woman while she was walking along the railway line in the morning. She died on the spot.
Later, being informed, railway police recovered the body from the spot.
Narsingdi Railway Police Station sub-inspector Saiful Islam confirmed the matter.
